The new RS for enrollment passed out of House Ed by voting to go through to a second reading. This moves it to the full house floor, hopefully will be heard in the next couple of days. Ill send out the bill information once it receives a bill number. This version of enrollment gives us two years of enrollment funding and puts in place an interim committee to look at enrollment and a funding formula.

House Ed is hearing the new RS on enrollment, cleaning up the kindergarten language. Watch it live. https://www.idahoptv.org/shows/idahoinsession/ew41/

Enrollment will be given a new RS with changes to the kindergarten language so that legislators don’t feel like it is giving full day kindergarten status. We believe it will get moved from RS status to a full bill and onto the full house, without another hearing in house ed. Will keep everyone posted.
